This is from Oreo's Momo

This is from Oreo's momo, Nancy - Oreo will post more pictures and stories later. :)

Oreo just turned 2 on August 21, 2007, so here's a post dedicated to my little pup. :)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Oreo makes me laugh a lot of times. It's never a dull moment with her. LOL

Oreo loves to be cuddled and sleep beside you with a blanket over her. When she gets up to where you are, and taps you on the arm 3 times, she is telling you, "Please cover me up." You get a blanket, she snuggles beside you, and then you cover her up with that blanket. She is then satisfied. :)

What if you ignore her? She goes right in your face, and then taps your arm with her paw slower and harder, like she's saying to you, "Listen to me! Cover me up!" Then you get a blanket, and cover her up.

Spoiled dog. :)

Oreo loves treats. Almost every hour, she would run right up to us, hops around, licks her chops, and runs right up to the treat jar. Then she sits down, and looks at you to get her a morsel. :) A lot of times we tell her "No" because she doesn't need treats all the time, but when she gets back from her potty break, when we go off somewhere and we had to leave her home, or does a trick, she gets one. :)

Oreo also plays her favorite game before bed time....it's called "Catch the paw". What she does is that she spreads out on the bed (her legs sprawled out) and lets out little barks at me, and then she moves her paws to place it over mine, and I try to do the same with her. She loves that. LOL Then later she yawns and goes to sleep.

Oreo's tricks are "speak", "kiss", "sit" and "stay". She also know a few sign language such as "stay" and "sit". She's really smart. :)

Oreo's a real sweetheart and I enjoy having her. :)

One of my "Sucky" Toys

Besides my Loofah dog, I have another favorite sucky toy which is my pink stuffed cell phone. I love to chew on it, suck on it, tear the seams out, and keep on loving it. Nancy said she got it from BeanDogsCafe.

Here's me with my pink stuffed cell phone:

I Try to Bark and Nothing Comes Out!

Whenever I was told to "speak", I try to bark on the floor but nothing comes out. I get so frustrated! So I go to the comfy blue rug to try to get my bark out, and it works every time!

Here's me when I was trying to bark so I can get a treat.

I Love to Beg

I just love to beg for my treats or food that my family eats. They would tell me to do tricks like "shake", "sit", "stay", "kiss", and to "speak" so I can get some treats. I know sign language like "sit" and "stay".

My family says I beg a lot. Here's a video to show you proof that I just love to beg.

Oreo's Bath

Last week, I went to the vet....I had a good report.
The vet said I am a healthy little girl.
The night before,
I wasn't so happy about taking a bath so I can
smell good for my vet,
and my fur all bright and shiny.

Here I am in my birthday suit
and looking pitiful.

Will I get a treat after this, Momo?

Bath all done?!

Dat feels cozy and warm.
Think I will do the BT500
to dry me off some more.

Here's me with my "Elvis" grin
Don't you think I look
like a hunka burning love?

Now dat's my bath is over,
give me a treat, woman.
I hate baths....
see my stinkeye.
Better sleep with
one eye open tonight.

My First Posting

Hi! Let me tell you a little bit about myself. My name is Oreo, and I was born on August 21st. I live in Florida with my family. I love treats (I am a huge beggar), laps to lay in, and watch the ducks outside in my own backyard.

This is me when I was a little puppy. I was about 4 months old when I was adopted.

This is one of my favorite pasttimes - watching cars go by through the windows.

Can you see I enjoy sleeping in my bed with my Loofah dog?

Here's a recent picture of me. See the fluffy shoe? That is one of my many, many toys! A girl like me knows there can never be too many toys.
